“I have the kicker hideaway in a golf cart under the seat mounted up to the body. Does it get to hot to wrap this in some sort of fabric.. blanket.. or what type of material if I even could would you recommend to eliminate rattle?”

You always want to have ventilation for am amp, if it gets too hot the fuse will power the amp off.
