• Yes you can, but you will want to use a smaller gauge wire for surround speakers. I recommend 16 gauge wire for surround speakers, especially if your running more than 2 or 3 feet of wire.

• Yes. Car audio wire can be used for home audio wiring. This particular speaker wire jacket is a little rubbery so it won’t slide well if you’re fishing cable through tight inside wall spaces.

• you can use an ethernet cable cut and stripped as a speaker wire so yes this cable works in any speaker setup
