• The Kicker ks series have better mids and highs over the regular kickers. Back in the day, they had the Kicker ds series and had problems with distortion from their mids and highs. Hope this helps.

• Sound quality- the bass/ midrange is much smoother which in-turn, makes the treble (tweeters) extremely clear and concise! These are VERY good speakers for the cost.
