Firstly, I'm not sure if your monoblock amp is 1500.1 Rms or max. If max, then that generally would mean your RMS is 750, so that's perfect. If your amp is 1500.1 RMS, that is a LOT of power to be putting into this sub, so be careful. 45% is about where I have my amp gain set to. I have a Kicker 46CXA800.1 RMS amp to go with my Solo Baric and it hits hard. If you have your sub at that gain level, and you don't think it hits hard enough, that doesn't mean that you should invest in a second one. As long as you have your gain set at level to allow the sub to have plenty of power, and have it not clip, then you really shouldn't touch the gain on the amp. If you have your sub running at 8ohms right now like you say, and you want it to hit harder, the solution wouldn't be to purchase a second sub in my opinion. It would to running it at 4ohms or 2ohms. This will provide more power to your sub and ultimately boost your bass to your desired level. Hope this helps. :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Is your sub a DVC 4 ohm? If so series at 8 ohm is the best configuration for your amp where you should be getting 375 watts rms. You could do parallel for a 2 ohm load but you would melt your voice coils pretty quick and void your warranty.
