I don't claim to be an expert but my level on my same amp & sub setup is that the amp is set to just about quarter of the way up & I have a bass knob as well. The knob I recommend you set at what works for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Currently right now I have a solo baric L7S in my Kia Sportage and I love it. I'm running it on a slightly weaker amp then yours. I have a 46CXA800 RMS amp that it's running off of and the amp's max watts is 1600. I'm also running mine at 2ohms so I believe that we have a similar setup. Considering that you have a slightly more powerful amp running to your solo baric, I would personally run your sub at anywhere between 30% to Possibly 45% gain. I would keep your crossover at about half when you first obtain the sub and then cater it from there to your needs. I personally would NOT touch the bass boost knob on the amp either. Hope this helps
