Only if you have 27 or 30 inch openings. Don’t need either of the trims if you have a 24 inch opening.

I only used the narrow border trim. I made a face frame for my cabinet that fit the dimensions of the microwave oven. I attached the face frame to my existing cabinet with screws and dowels.

Depends on your opening size - the oven is 24", but if your opening is wider, you will need the kit to close up the space
