“We use ours and the detergent tray opens but the detergent just slides down the door. Same with the cascade pods. It’s like it’s not getting enough water or something. Dishes still dirty. Do you have a solution?”

Make sure the detergent container is totally dry before putting a pod into it. If it's not dry the outer clear material of the pod will partially dissolve and stick to the detergent container wall, and will not drop to the base of the tub as it's supposed to do.
