We have had our new 39dB KitchenAid dishwasher for one week after replacing a 22-year-old KitchenAid washer. Love the sound level; everything we expected. The wash cycle cleans very well, but it takes considerably longer. presumably because of water conservation. It does have dry settings. One is regular and there is also an extended dry. To answer your question, we ran both settings. With the regular setting, there was still some water droplets in crevices of dishes and the stainless-steel tub also has small droplets. On the extended level, the dishes were very dry, but there very small droplets visible on mainly the interior of the door. Hope that helps.
