Q: QuestionCan the 3rd rack be removed? Currently have an old school dishwasher with silverware caddy that makes it easy to carry across the kitchen and unload into the silverware drawer. If the 3rd rack can’t be removed, how do people unload/put away silverware?

Q: QuestionIs the heat dry option available on all cleaning cycles, for example, just doing a normal wash - someone had posted that. I find that hard to believe that heat dry is so limited. Heat dry is one of the main reasons to get a KitchenAid.

Q: QuestionA reviewer said that the heated dry option can only be selected on the Pro Wash Cycle, is this correct? I'd like to use the option to dry dishes if hand washed, is this possible?

• A:Answer Unfortunately Heat Dry will not come on without choosing ProWash, Tough,Normal or Express Wash. It will not come on with Rinse Only or alone.

Q: QuestionI see in the listing that the black dishwasher is 21 1/2" depth and the black stainless is 24 1/2" depth. Why is one shorter than the other? I want the black stainless but can not have a depth over 22".

• A:Answer I just purchased the stainless 39 Dba KitchenAid dishwasher. It is 24 1/2” deep, 22 5/8” if you exclude the door. The black stainless must have the same dimensions. Most regular size dishwashers are 24 1/2” deep, I believe. I hope this helps you.

Q: QuestionCan anyone please explain to me why the inside walls of the dishwasher and the bottom are always wet? I use ''Heat Dry'' and ''Extended heat Dry'' along with the detergents that are recommended: the Cascade Power Dry and Cascade Platinum. Thank you.

• A:Answer Angel, it is normal for some moisture to be inside the Dishwasher. We would recommend that you increase your rinse aid setting to dispense more rinse aid, as that will help the drying of the dishes. It can take up to 30 washes for the rinse aid to distribute inside of the Dishwasher and for you to notice a difference in the water left on the door and the walls. We hope this helps!
