“Is this a sealed unit, lile Bosch dishwashers with filters that must be cleaned?”

• I'm not sure about the Bosch dishwasher of if this is a "sealed" unit. There is a filter that must be cleaned every once in a while with this one but it is very easy to clean the filter on this model. You just take it out and rinse it under water for a few seconds and put it back in. I do this about once every few weeks or so.

• This model has a small and simple screw in Screen Filter in the bottom. You take it out once a month of so depending on how much you rinse your dishes and rinse it with water. Then just screw it back into place.

• In the "Product Features" that is listed on the Best Buy site, it says, "Self-cleaning filter works efficiently." So you do not need to clean the filter on this model.
