Does this dishwasher have a leak sensor? If so, does it automatically shut off if a leak is detected? null

We just bought this model dishwasher and it does indeed have a leak detector which shuts it off and sounds an alarm. There's a white plastic panel in front near the floor that has a Styrofoam float. If activated, it trips a switch that shuts the unit off and sounds a beeping and light flashing alarm.

The KitchenAid website states this model does have a leak sensor. KDTM404KPS. Does it or doesn't it?

I didn’t see it anywhere in the owners/installation manual about a leak sensor so iam not sure if does. The electrical schematic was in the side bottom right and I don’t want to pull the dishwasher out just to look for a sensor in the schematic. Very hard to push back without two people. Sorry for not much help.
