“The depth of KDPM604KPS with pocket handle is 26 3/4 which is different than KDPM704KPS or KDPM804KPS (24 1/2). Are they suppose the same ? Is it a typo or really KDPM604KPS is thicker on the door?”

• Not sure where you got those dimensions. Here is the link to the product in the Kitchenaid website: https://www.kitchenaid.com/major-appliances/dishwashers/integrated-control/p.44-dba-dishwasher-in-printshield-finish-with-freeflex-third-rack.kdpm604kps.html. As you can see, the depth for KDPM604KPS is also 24 1/2 inches.

• the 604kps is 26 3/4 from back of unit to handle it is 24 1/2 depth without handles

• I believe the difference is due to the bar handle sticking out versus the pocket handle which is recessed. I would think Kitchenaid could tell you if there is any difference in the actual door structure. I doubt it though.
