• Bottom of door, left. It will definitely damage wood flooring, over time.

• The fan-assisted dry vents out the lower-left-front. You can hear the fan (barely--it's very, very quiet) running for a long time after the cycle is complete. If left to run the entire time, it does get everything very dry unless there is a large puddle somewhere. I haven't had my unit long enough to know if it will damage the finish, but i don't see how it would.
