No it does not. I believe most Bosch units do..KitchenAid seems cheap in this regard.

Hello Nimi, the unit does come with a cord to be connected to direct wire. You can purchase a power cord kit to install to plug it into the outlet if hardwire is not an option. We hope this helps.
