“I depressed the tab in the center of the filter cup and pulled up to remove it as per the KitchenAid instructions for filter cleaning. I put the cup back and pushed down, but it’s not locking back into place. Did a piece break off?”

• I don't think it 'locks' I just slide mine in as far as it goes and that is it
