“I've read numerous reviews from people saying the ice maker leaks water from the dispenser and then pools up on top of the left side snack drawer, where the controls are. Has KitchenAid addressed this issue? Is it something seen only on older models?”

I bought this unit in December 2022 and have had constant issues with the ice maker and cooling in the freezer throughout. Melty ice cream, etc. We see the leaking onto lower drawer also. Very disappointing for such an expensive unit. Advise everyone to just purchase the cheaper machines and not be so disappointed.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We had a similar issue happen except the water didn’t pool in the snack shelf. Some of the ice melted and water pooled in the ice container and leaked out when we were trying to dispense ice. So we emptied the entire container and made sure everything was sealed not causing the melt. We haven’t had it occur since and purchased early this year.
