A great question that I should have asked before they brought it out to install for me. I would HIGHLY recommend that you have the folks from the appliance section of your Best Buy come out and measure the openings and depths. This was a free service at my Best Buy. I had ordered a 24 inch oven because that is what I had before and this brand was too small. As it turned out, the Best Buy folks figured out that if we had our carpenter increase the opening about an inch and move the electrical box up, we had enough room for the 27 inch model which turned out to be less expensive than the 24 inch--go figure. So far so good.
