Does the lid come apart for cleaning? null

Who knows. It should come apart easily according to info on line but I can’t get my lid to separate!

Per Kitchenaid: The lids on the older models did separate. However, the newer models do not separate. We no longer make lids for our Food Choppers that will separate.

Hi Bonnie, The black piece will remove from the lid for easier cleaning.

Yes, it comes apart and is very easy to clean.
