counterclockwise to lit symbol. After burner lights, turn knob to desired setting.
A:AnswerI can only offer what I did. My down draft is next to a kitchen cabinet which is next to an exterior wall. So I ran my vent pipe through the cabinet to the wall. I then covered the line with white cabinet board.
I would suggest you put chicken wire crumbled up in the vent on the outside. I had a problem with rodents crawling in a d getting caught in the vent motor .
That worked well for me.
