QuestionThe height is 3.63, which I believe if from bottom to top of cook top surface. But need to know distance from counter top surface bottom of cook-top once installed.

QuestionDo you have to have external ventilation for this gas stove top. It seems sometimes it is recommended and other times it is not. I can't find anything from the manufacture on this. My local code states it is based on manufacture recommendations.

QuestionIs there a way to adjust the flame? It takes too long for water to boil. Is there a fast/turbo burner on this unit?

- Answer No there is not unless to alter the unit which will void the warranty. You can drill out gas holes larger (not recommended) or cut feet off the grates to bring pan closer to flame. Insure you have enough gas pressure though but if you had existing gas you should be ok. I could only boil water on center burner and kitchen aid just said I need to get new pots and pans. That would be a no. I went with a brand called Smeg and could not be happier. I can boil water on all burners now. I hope you can return item.

- Answer Yes LP stands for Liquid Propane. This model cooktop works well with the LP conversion kit for me.

- Answer Sam, the max cutout depth is 20 inches and the min cutout depth is 19 1/2 inches. The max cutout width is 29 5/16 inches and the min cutout width is 28 1/2 inches.
