• A:Answer Hello! Yes, this will turn on. The control is equipped with a heat sensor that will turn on the blower to the highest speed if excessive heat occurs around the control area. ■ If the blower is On or Off, the blower will automatically set to the highest speed. “Auto” will appear in the display to indicate that the heat sensor has detected excessive heat. ■ When the blower is operating due to excessive heat detected by the heat sensor, the blower speed cannot be decreased. ■ When the temperature level on the hood drops to normal, the blower will return to its setting before the excessive heat was sensed.

Q: QuestionI just "replaced" my charcoal filters for the first time and discovered that the Best Buy installers never put in the original charcoal filters. How much damage will the hood have suffered if it was used for about 50 hours without the filters?

Q: Questiondoes this fan work with a rear vent exhaust duct? It says it does work for rear ducts but someone said in the reviews that it doesn't work for that only top venting. that is a critical point for this to work.
