They share the same dna. The differance is that the kitchen aid version is last years jenn air model rebadged with an amended grill design and slightly altered control knobs. Bar that the tangible difference is about $500 and whether you think one brand is posher than the other.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I looked at both and bought the KitenAid. They are identical except for a few things like knobs and burner housings. The JenAir is much more expensive and as far as I can see, you do not get anything but the name for the money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not familiar with other model number. Only 2 downdrafta made by Kitchenaid: one is 30” and the one I purchased is 36”. You can convert either from natural gas to propane but not propane to natural gas.
