QuestionDoes this range require a recess in the wall behind it in order to sit flush against the wall? I've seen a couple reviews where there's about a 2" gap between the wall and the range. Please advise. We are doing a full remodel.

- Answer The plug itself is really big. There is open space at the bottom of the range for it and the gas line but I think you are better off recessing in the center. I did that and it fits great with no spacing issues.

QuestionOur contractor just installed our range, and it cannot be pushed further back to the wall so there is a gap of about 1.5-1.34 inches. Does Kitchenaid sell a stainless steel fill strip for the back of the range?

QuestionWhat is the temperature swing around the selected temperature - +/-20 or higher? My pro range has a temp swing of +/- 50 - you can't bake like that. Is the simmer a full burner or a little center ring of a double burner?
