Specs for KSM55 is supposed to be 500 Watts, but serial tag at bottom only says 120v-60hz 450 W and no “max” shown. Is this same? Are there different versions for same model number? I was expecting label to say “Max Watts 500” like in store. null

Check your tag to see if it says "For Mexico".  Just had issue with them sending wrong replacement.

Mine also shows only 450 watts on tag. It looks like Kitchenaid hasn’t explained why some say 500 watts while others less at 450 watts. Returning mine.

Hi KC, The KSM55 does offer a 500 watt AC motor.  The KSM55 offers only one version of this model.
