• I too just purchased the Kitchenaid mixer model KSM55. On the underside of the mixer is a barcode tag that clearly states its a 500 watt. I have seen other units 4 qt, 4.5 qt, 5 qt and they are different wattages. Also they have metal nomenclature plates that states their capacities and wattage A small metal tag not a sticker M Saba Minnesota
