Hi RWS, KitchenAid offers the following larger bowls for this model. KSMB60 6 QT Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl with Ergonomic Handle KSMB70 7 QT Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl with Ergonomic Handle
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The beaters (mixing attachments) must fit with the bowl shape. The bowl diameter is different for the larger mixers. Therefore one cannot fit a larger (or smaller) bowl into a 5.5 qt mixer
