Yes -- we had a free standing range and installed this one in it's place. I fits perfectly.. The controls are on the front so the back doesn't stick up like a freestanding range, so if your backsplash doesn't go all the way down to the counter height you might have a gap. Our backsplash goes all the way to the countertop and it looks and works perfectly.
