Is self cleaning by heat or steam? null

Hi SLS, This unit uses the AquaLift steam cleaning technology. We hope this helps.

AquaLift steam is THE WORST feature in KitchenAid ovens. There is no way that baked in spills will clean up with “Gentle” steam at 350 degrees. I’ve taken a step back 40 years and needed to use oven cleaner to get caked on spills cleaned up after scrubbing long enough for my arms to hurt.
