Q: Questionwhat is the downdraft option for this model? Can this be used instead of a range hood? I was wondering where I can locate the options to avoid needing to install a range hood in my kitchen.

• A:Answer yogi, the grates are porcelin coated cast iron. WE recomend using a mild soap and water when cleaning the greats. They are also dishwasher safe.

• A:Answer Just got a new date of May 19 from BestBuy. After not getting an update for my April 14 delivery date, I called in and was given a May date. I do not hold much hope that KitchenAid is going to deliver by that date.
