• does not heat up that much on the outside. It is warm to the touch but it will not burn you.

• The top of the unit is considered a "cooling area" and does get hot. The sides and bottom, no. The front glass, yes very hot as well.

• The sides front back and top are burning hot on mine. That is why I even googled this product. It is so hot I cannot even touch it for longer than 1 second. Ouch. The air fryer was only on for 8 minutes.

• Yes, this emits a lot of heat. The top gets very hot, could burn. The sides and front gets hot. Be aware when using to not touch the top, sides or front of door. The handle stays cool. I use oven mits around this oven.
