Hi Jode, The interior is PTFE free and PFOA free.

In all seriousnes I'm just a 3rd year Cal Organic Chemistry dropout but I can tell you as any first year Chem or Food Science Tech major at any decent college would; there is no such thing as Chemical free non-stick binding. The polymers used in that prcess are unstable, something you would not want to filter through your organs and the long term effects have not been truly studied. Non-stick anything should be considered unsafe by anyone who cares what they put in their body.
