Yes, this is the same white coating as the original beater. But chipping into your batter?! *gasps* I will have to keep an eye out!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it is the same finish. I would definitely call KitchenAid and tell them about your beater chipping. That is a flaw and should not have happened. I do love the flex edge beater because it cleans the sides of the bowl making for less stopping and scraping with a rubber scraper.
