Is this kettle good for making tea? null

This is only used for heating water which can be used in making tea.

This kettle has variable temperature Selector to select desired brewing temperature customizable in 1 Degree increments ranging from 140 - 212 Fahrenheit, with the option to hold for 30 minutes. We are purchasing it to use with our French Press which we prefer at 195 degrees when we make it. The specs at other locations, Amazon and Kitchenaid.com show this specific note about temperature. So, it's good for tea and coffees as well.

That's what I use it for and love it. Most of the teas I use call for 200 F or more, so I just let it reach full boil and switch itself off. If you drink white tea or other delicate varieties, just keep an eye on the temperature gauge and turn off the kettle when it reaches the temperature you want.

It's great for heating up water for tea. I do not recommend adding tea bags inside as it will stain your kettle.
