Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not so sure. I bought mine on black Friday 2017 for $199, thinking it was new and I did the warranty registration online with kitchenaid. I received an email from Kitchenaid asking me to review my "Refurbished 500 series" mixer. They have the model number and I think a serial number, so I would think they know if it is new or refurbished. No spot in this ad or on any of my paperwork says anything about refurbished. I did see this same mixer, during Black Friday weekend for sale in other stores, for the same price I bought mine - $199.00, but they said "refurbished". I was excited to have bought from Best Buy and paid the same for New, now I think I may have gotten a refurbished after all.
