You don't get the points. You were lied to in order to get you to sign up for their credit card. Credit card sign ups are 100% margin for best buy. A metric of employee success is how many credit card sign ups they get. It can be what will let you keep your job or be let go. It's very common for best buy employees to lie about the discount. I was told I'd get 10% off. What actually happened is i got reward coupons for 10% of my purchase 2 months later that can ONLY be used at best buy. The company is very unethical.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ensure you CC and online account are connected. Log into bestbuy.com with your account user name and password. Put items into your shopping cart. The account should automatically have your Best Buy card in the payment option. Before submitting a purchase you will see the option to use promotional codes or rewards. Click on rewards and you'll see a list of all your rewards. Click one or all rewards you'd like to use. Once complete, your payment amount owed, if any will be adjusted. Submit your purchase. You can always change CC on file while making a purchase if you wish to not use your BB.
