• 5qt that's why there is a 5 in the name. The 6 qt model has a 6 in its name.

• This model comes with a 5-quart bowl, but there is a 6-quart bowl (and a 3-quart bowl, too!) which actually fits this model perfectly, which is great for me. I had wondered why this is called the “5 Plus”, and that’s why. I needed an extra bowl so that I didn’t have to wash my one bowl so often during large baking projects. I just received the larger bowl and it works as well as the original bowl.

• I was just washing mine so measured 5 qts water which leaves just enough room for the beater in mine.
