“limited availability Best Buy is advertising this product on sale , yet shows it as being unavailable when I try to order it. The store has no idea when it will be available and refuses to offer a rain check. I find this to be a very unusual policy---can anyone from Best Buy explain this ?”

Its a special order item and if my memory serves me right, this is about the time new models will begin to come out, so maybe they are worried they will not have that exact model for you. Have you looked at HomeDepot or another establishment that price matches? Just a thought.

Even at this late date, anything involving construction has been backed up until sometime next year when things will start to return to normal.

Please try again later.I recently bought this dishwasher (yes, on sale) and even though they didn't have it in stock at the store, it was available from their distribution center, so they took my order (and payment) that evening, and it was delivered/installed (free as part of their promotion) in 3 days.
