“Just about to do my first load and cannot get the circular cap to lift out so I can put the rinse aid in. I had a Kitchen Aid before this with a similar plug...larger and had no problem getting it out, but this one won't budge even pulling with tweezers.”

There's no cap to remove! Just flip open the flap that says 'Lift' and pour directly on where it says 'Fill'

I finally realized that the rinse aid goes into the slot shaped as a half circle, marked fill. Just pour rinse aid into this slot until you can 's see that it full in the circle that looks like a bubble level. I've had mine a few weeks now, and it works just fine.
