My Klipsch subwoofer has no noise or hum at all. My suggestion would be to replace the cable from your receiver/amp to your sub. There are some quality cables out there at affordable prices if you look around. Good luck. Hope this helped.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No hum. Could be a ground loop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My MTX powered sub did the same. It would seem to be dependent on either the cable, or the AVR (amplifier) your using, or possibly a ground loop. If you unplug the cable from the AVR the sub was dead quiet. It could be some of those things.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My former subwoofer had the same human, but this one has a clean Bass up and down the dial.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You shouldn't hear any humm check the connection from receiver to the sub. Make sure on the ends they are not bent real bad.. Hope that helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not heard a hum when playing the sub but, I have it plugged directly into the wall and if I unplug my amplifier Then the sub does hum, unless I either power off the sub. Make sure that your amp sub volume is set to zero and only use the volume on the sub for optimal results.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Plugged SW into different outlet and hum went away. Thanks for all the help!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NO! check wires and connection
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I suggest switching the polarity. I have the same speaker and no hum. There is also a product sold for stage use which conditions the lines against hum which you could try. I think you may also have some fault in the connection to your amplifier.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't have that issue. Check to see if it's plugged in a circut that is running something that has a ballast or transformer - like a flourecent light fixture. If so, try either turning it off or plugging it in somewhere else. you could also try a line conditioner.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
