They would do just fine, depending on the size of your room, you may consider 2 10 inch subs and go wireless..I'm running 2 of these on my 7.2 and its incredible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's not clear if you mean matching the "look" of your Paradigm Towers or the "sound". I'll address sound. Unlike all of the other speakers in your 5.1 or 7.1 surround system, the sub-woofer operates in a completely different part of the frequency spectrum. It's often a good idea to match the "Timbre" of your Front L-R, Rear L-R and Center speakers since they are reacting to generally the same frequencies at each moment. However, the sub-woofer is thumping away in its own world so to speak, so it won't be overpowering or understating anything the other speakers are producing. I'm very impressed and happy with my Klipsch Reference R-12SW subwoofer even though none of the other speakers or components in my home theater are from Klipsch.
