“If I buy this with the r-51m bookshelf speakers do I need to buy an additional receiver? Or can I just connect the speakers to the sub?”

• Jon you must connect to a receiver. The sub does not have speaker terminals on it. Make sure your receiver has a Sub out to connect the Subwoofer or else no go with this Sub.
