• Yes, I have a turntable with RCA cables and you plug them directly into one speaker. The preamp in the speaker splits the left and right audio between the two speakers.

• Yes, the speakers have several input ports rca being one option. Depending on the stereo's output I would suspect that you need only purchase a male to male rca cable.
