“Hi. I want to connect these to a turntable and to a subwoofer. would I need an Amp to connect these to the turntable or subwoofer and what kilpsch subwoofer would be reccomended. I'm also wondering if these speakers have good bass on their own?”

The R-40PM has connections to support a powered subwoofer and a connection with a turntable. Your turntable should come with a dual RCA cable to connect to the R-40PM's "PHONO" input. The R-40PM has the following frequency response: 60Hz - 20kHz. While this will cover a good amount of bass, an external subwoofer is always recommended to provide more depth to the listening experience. Please take a look at the R-121SW or the R-101SW (the latter just being a smaller version of the former).
