No you don’t need to return. Klipsch speakers are extremely efficient and and only need 1 watt to reach 90+dB
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say you do not need to return the receiver. It will work fine. I think it is slightly under powered for the speakers I believe they are 180 watt RMS. It is always an upgrade you can make down the road.

I've used multiple receivers from Onkyo, to Marantz, to Pioneer and even Sony. The Pioneer was a massive 11.2 receiver weighing about 60 pounds with a cost of about $3000. I hooked up my Pioneer to my Klipsch and the sound was great. I then hooked it up my much less expensive $299 Sony with 7.2 channels and again, the sound was stellar. I actually preferred the Sony's sound over the Pioneer (pre-calibration). Both receivers were plenty to push the volume well over what I'd be comfortable listening at in a normal environment. Stick with your Yamaha and only upgrade if you want additional features or you really want to push those speakers at an above average level. Cheers!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.90w is plenty to drive these speakers. they are very efficient, however the peak is 600w per unit you don't have to pump near the max RMS to get good loud quality from these speakers. im pretty sure they are 8 ohm.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The receiver you have is fine 90 watts is enough to get me sounding very nice although you can go higher it's not really needed and you don't want to push them to the point where you can start damaging them I would not worry the speakers have a 97 db signal to noise ratio they are super efficient that receiver should work just fine
