Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The question to your answer is it depends because everyone's senses, palates and tastes are different. Sort of like asking, "Am I going to notice the difference of tasting 1 wine over another?" Additionally, the speaker set up in your house will deliver bigger and fuller sound compared to the open floor of the show room store. Also once the speakers are set up in your home you're not comparing them to another set of speakers and your hearing will adjust accordingly. Another factor to consider is how you plan on using them. If you're going to use it as home theater primarily with a sub, I don't think you'll notice once you have it set up in your house. If you're going to use it primarily as stereo then maybe the dual 8" is a better option. On a personal note, I recently bought the 28F over the 26F because of a 50% off sale but I do have buyers remorse in that it is too much speaker for my preference and set up primarily as home theater. However, despite that I do love them so far and I am not going to exchange them
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have them in a 10x12 room and they sound great. You can't go by what they sound like in the store for a few reasons....1. The store I was at had them hooked up to a low power receiver because they sounded much better on my receiver at home. The salesman didn't know much about that dept. Yes they will sound great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I run all klipsch I Actually have 8 inch towers for main fronts and the smaller 6.5 inch towers for my rear surrounds. Both work well. l also have 5.25 inch book shelves for front surrounds. 7.2 However its the subs that give the knock out punch. My recommendation is buy the best sub or subs you can. I run dual R-115SW. With wireless WA-2 kits. In what is considered a small room. 800 watts each my amp is a Denon with almost 1900 watts. this combo Sounds incredible. But to answer your question without the subs the response bass is definitely less with smaller towers. However they both sound great when driven but the subs balance out the system. . You won't be disappointed.
