Yes that amp will be more than enough power, I am using aventage 770 and it is a perfect sound and good match !!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No problem with under powering. I run the Denon 730 and its unreal sound, the Yamaha is even better. Thumps like a concert, I'm also running the 12 inch Klipsch sub with no problem from the sub outlet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bi-Amping is a wasted of time unless you’re actively bi-amping and pushing 100+ Watts to the tweeter and woofers
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These speakers can handle 150 Watts of continuous power at 8ohms. On the klipsch website, it says to match the power output of your amp to the speakers. My amplifier is a cheap onkyo rated at 80 watts continuous power per channel, 20Hz to 20kHz @ 8ohms. But you know what? It's working just fine. I'm getting a lot of volume out of these speakers. On a speaker forum, an expert stated as an example "it's ok to use a 50 watt amplifier on a 100 watt speaker. the only thing you may notice is that If you have a large room, you may find you'll have to turn the volume knob way up to get the volume you want." Your receiver is 140 watts continuous power I believe, so I believe it's plenty capable. if my cheapo receiver gets good sound out of these, while simultaneously playing a center channel and 12-inch sub (not the sandwich, but the speaker), then your receiver shouldn't have any issues.
