• You can use this as a stand alone speaker. If you use an AVR set to "stereo," all music can play through it. If you use an AVR and set it to "cinema," the center speaker will be devoted to movie dialogue.

• Yes you can use it alone, as any other speaker. ADD 2nd one, connect to amp-listen good music
