My only complaint with wall mounting was the lack of a template for screw layout. It is kind of a buggar to get on the wall perfectly. Careful measuring is required. I’d recommend making your own template for layout. I believe the speaker will accept either type of connection.

My personal recommendation is to always go with bare wire. I have tried all the different types of connectors in the past because I wanted a quick and easy hook-up. All have failed at one point or another. The worst offenders are the crimp on type - DON'T USE THEM, unless you like to hear your audio suddenly cutting in and out on you while in the middle of a great movie. I have even tried soldering pin, spade, and banana connectors only to have every single one fail eventually. Even factory made cables will fail. There's noting worse than listening to crappy audio and wondering: "Is it my receiver? Is it my streaming service? Is it my Sat box?" Save yourself the grief and just use the bare wire connection and enjoy great sound all the time.
