There will be a few notable differences between these two models. The R-50M II features an Aluminum tweeter and a copper-spun TCP woofer, while the RP-500M II features a Titanium tweeter and a Cerametallic woofer. This difference will mean that the RP-500M II will be able to produce more detail in the audio reproduction of music and movies. Another difference will be that the RP-500M II has a deeper cabinet which will translate to more cabinet resonance and a deeper bass response.
