Hi! Thanks for asking. We had a little issue finding your model as it's written but we did find model CGS980SEMSS on our GEA website. Using that model as a reference, the knob kit that you've found here would not work for it. This knob kit is only for select Café cooktops. - If you're needing replacement knobs for this model the part numbers are as follows; the quantity needed is in parenthesis. WB03K10265 (3), WB03K10267 (1), and WB03K10266 (2). If the new knobs do not sit flush like the original knobs and there is a gap behind knob, sometimes the spring clips on older knobs can come loose and stay on the valve shaft when the old knob is removed, then they get shoved down and interfere when new knobs are installed. Check the valve shaft to see if there is an old spring clip still installed. If so, small pliers or a pick can be used to slide the spring clip off. Hope this is helpful! Best wishes. -Michael@Cafe
